Jill and Ryan Aldridge

It was hard to enjoy being the bride when details bombarded my every thought. Having chosen a reception site and church that insisted I didn’t need an outside wedding coordinator, I planned to allow the facility directors to take care of everything. But for two of the four and a half months we were engaged, I felt this constant sinking feeling in my stomach every time I thought about the wedding day, and it wasn’t cold feet. It was the fear that something would be forgotten—that some important detail would would fall through the cracks and cause stress when all I wanted to do was enjoy what was taking place. While sharing my frustrations with some coworkers, two of them began raving about a lady named Beverly who they were convinced could pull off my wedding without a hitch — just as she did theirs. So I called her.

After my first meeting with Beverly, I felt like a weight had been lifted from my shoulders. Her advice was invaluable. Every detail I’d worried about she was prepared to handle—and more. And on the weekend of the wedding, she did just that. When problems arose with the flowers the night before the wedding, Beverly handled everything so I didn’t have to, making sure each detail was in place. Beverly provided the leadership and decisive direction such a precious day requires, going above and beyond what I expected in her kindness and proficiency. She is a blessing.
